The goal of the Prinses Beatrix Fonds is to contribute to the treatment of neuromuscular diseases and movement disorders and to improve the quality of life for patients with a muscular disease or movement disorder. The fund provides financial support to patients in those cases where the regular (governmental) services are not applicable. The fund financially supports collective public facilities and services for handicapped people. The fund financially supports scientific research.
